Volunteer: Provide A Dinner - Taylor St.

Volunteers will provide a dinner meal for the homeless men in the Rescue Mission's Men's Emergency Shelter and the graduated men in the Transitional Living Program. Volunteers should plan to provide for 50 men. Registered volunteers may choose to stay to serve; drop off meals should arrive for 4pm

*Hours are generated according to volunteers' approximate preparation time to make the meal and/or serve it.

Meals can be dropped off by 4:00pm of the scheduled day. Please label and date the meal if dropped off prior to scheduled date.

We like to maintain our relationships with our donors. To show our appreciation, we send out birthday/thank you cards on a monthly basis. We need help addressing, note writing and stamping these post cards in our office on Mill Street.

Volunteers will help prepare the lunch bags and load the van with food, water, and other items to be distributed at various locations to the homeless and poverty-stricken in the community.

Please remember to follow the lead of the SRM Chaplain in all locations when serving the homeless. He has the right to guide and direct volunteers in order to keep all concerned safe and at peace.
